Having kept birds for a number of years from canaries to small finches we saw our first Gouldian finches in a local shop and we were hooked. These lovely Australian birds captivated us that we soon decided to extend to a heated inside aviary, we also started to look around for suitable cages for our new bird house and this soon led us in finding new friends in Barry & Dawn who gave us lots of useful advice about these birds. The thing we needed was some good quality cages made from plastic which were easy to clean and cut down on any possible infections, we obtained these from another friend, Keith, and were so pleased with these we decided to try and obtain plastic nest boxes. This proved quite difficult as we could not find the quality we wanted so we made some for ourselves and the birds soon excepted them to the extent we had a lot of young in our first year.

Friends were impressed when they saw our nests and asked us to make some for them. The nest boxes were shown at a few shows and enquiries started to come in. Although we are only a small business we pride ourselves in producing good quality products which is ever expanding.
